Amygdalus pedunculata is a native shrub to northern Shaanxi, which is of high ecological, economic and medicinal value. In this paper, the industrial development of Amygdalus pedunculata was analyzed and discussed from the perspective of its development and utilization value. It is considered that Amygdalus pedunculata can be used as a pioneer tree species for wind break and sand fixation, and its oil can be effectively developed as high-grade edible oil and biomass energy. The Industrial development of Amygdalus pedunculata in northern Shaanxi depends on the optimization measures for new variety breeding, service system establishment, industrialization mode, talent introduction and training.
